Sophie,
age 5, is prolific. Whenever she can express through drawing,
painting or any creative building, she is happy. She enjoys
watching programs on TV that will teach her to draw. In this
portfolio, you will see two of her favorite lessons: parrot and
gorilla. When I asked if she had any advice to give, she said, no.
But she was quick to add that she really enjoys drawing with her
Daddy. She says to be able to do something fun with someone you
love is very important. Yes, she said, that is what she would like
to tell people about drawing and painting: encourage people to do
things with the people they love. Sophie says most of her art is

Bio
Aneesha Parrone has been a weaver/fiber artist since 1977. She studied at Barton College, Penland School of Crafts, Haystacks School of Crafts and graduate work at Goddard College. In addition, in 1979 she served as apprentice to North Carolina master weaver, Jane Weir. Exhibiting throughout the state and nationally, her work expresses an exceptional style of tapestry weaving. more...
