On-going: Mandala Peace Weaving
Reflect your inner peace and create a small mandala weaving.
Honoring your deep wisdom, we will explore the joys of weaving. We
will use small cardboard pin weaving looms. Completed projects,
approximately 6" X 8", can be added as decoration to bags, jackets,
pillows or hung as a tapestry to beautify and sanctify your
environment. Bring any specialty or colorful yarns, any charms,
buttons or trinkets that reflect your delight.
No
prior weaving experience is necessary.

Mandala Weaving: The Elements ~ Fire, Water, Earth, Wind
Creative Fiber exploration of the elements: Fire, Water, Earth,
Wind. This is an 8 week program exploring through creative
tapestry weaving the 4 elements. Drawing from various
traditions, we will explore how these elements are integrated into
our creative expressions. We will use frame looms, provided by the
studio. Bring your own yarn and objects to incorporate. You
can do part or complete program.

Beginning Tapestry Weaving
This beginning tapestry class will use the frame loom. We will
explore basic tapestry techniques and will learn to explore
techniques through creative exploration. Participants will
complete a sampler as well as finished tapestry. This is a 4 week
program. Class includes: Notebook, warp thread, instruction,
fun Bring your own yarn and any creative elements you wish to
weave into your tapestry.

Intermediate Tapestry Weaving
This
class is for experienced weavers. We will explore creative
expression through tapestry weaving. We will begin with a theme,
explore possibilities through brainstorming. Participants will
bring their own threaded looms. Small frame looms can be
provided by the studio.
