Summer... ongoing:
Mandala Peace Weaving

Reflect your inner peace and create a small mandala weaving. Honoring your deep wisdom, we will explore the joys of weaving. We will use small cardboard pin weaving looms. Completed projects, approximately 6" X 8", can be added as decoration to bags, jackets, pillows or hung as a tapestry to beautify and sanctify your environment. Bring any specialty or colorful yarns, any charms, buttons or trinkets that reflect your delight.

No prior weaving experience is necessary.

Arpana Aneesha Studio Offerings

Explore, learn, improve and joyfully experiment with colors and textures of the woven medium in an atmosphere of acceptance and happiness. You will be given opportunities to learn and “find your artistic voice.”

Aneesha Parrone offers a wide range of weaving classes. Tapestry classes range from rag rug tapestries to creative multi-media art creations. Aneesha utilizes a variety of tools : off-loom weaving, use of cardboard pin looms, frames looms and conventional table and floor looms (both rigid heddle and 4 harness). What ever your fancy or need, Aneesha is here to support and encourage your artisitic growth potential.

Aneesha has served a variety of audiences. She has given workshops and demonstrations through Arts Councils, assisted living facilities, schools, festivals, in private homes.

 

Tapestry weaving is a dialogue, a communion with all that is beautiful with you. Whatever your purpose, look within and find that which inspires, gives you joy, feeds your heart.
